The last day in Taupo I finally discovered vegetarian sausages. Although the variety of food in New Zealand is comparable to the European I was unable to find any “vegetarian meat product”. But finally I did it;) So for dinner I just sautéed the left asparagus and once done I covered them with sort of Tasmanian cheese. Both fit really well with my grilled sausages. They were not as good as at home, but at least I had some.
